🛒 Ingredients
- ✓1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- ✓1/2 cup pizza sauce or crushed tomatoes
- ✓8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- ✓Fresh basil leaves
- ✓2 tablespoons olive oil
- ✓Salt and pepper to taste
- ✓1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle.
Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel lined with parchment paper.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.
Arrange the fresh mozzarella slices evenly over the sauce.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Remove from oven and top with fresh basil leaves.
Let cool for 2 minutes, slice, and enjoy!
