🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

If using raw chicken, cook it first: season with salt and pepper, then bake at 400°F for 20 minutes or until cooked through. Shred or dice.

Toss the cooked chicken with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce.

Roll out pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.

Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza pan.

Spread the remaining BBQ sauce over the dough instead of pizza sauce.

Sprinkle half the cheese over the sauce.

Add the BBQ chicken pieces and red onion slices.

Top with remaining cheese.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
